Abstract:
A simple formula for calculating the absolute strength of an explosives as determined by the Trauzl test (expansion in a lead block) is proposed that contains only one parameter – the relative strength of the explosive calculated from the heat of explosion and the volume of explosion gases.
Keywords:
explosive, strength, Trauzl test, heat of explosion, volume of explosion gases.
