Experimental and numerical technique for estimating kinetic processes of thermochemical conversion of solid organic fuels

Abstract:
A combined experimental and numerical technique for estimating the degree of thermochemical conversion of solid organic fuels is proposed; the technique is based on methods of the comprehensive thermochemical analysis and mathematical simulation. The technique for processing data of the thermogravimetric experiment and mathematical model description are based on a single computational system of material balances and kinetic processes of burnout of natural coals. Satisfactory quantitative agreement between experimental and numerical results is obtained.
