Abstract:
Stability of rotating detonation with different velocities of the incoming mixture in a combustion chamber consisting ot two coaxial cylinders is studied experimentally and theoretically. The detonation is demonstrated to stabilize at velocities both higher and lower than the
Chapman–Jouguet detonation velocity.
