Abstract: It is known that eigenfunctions of many elliptic operators such as Schrödinger operators decrease exponentially. It this paper we suggest a different idea of the proof of this fact. This idea is based on a special transformation $\Psi_\varepsilon$.
Keywords and phrases: eigenfunctions of elliptic operators, asymptotic decay.
