Abstract: In this paper we consider subcritical bisexual branching processes with large initial number of particles. This work explores the extinction time $T$ of such bisexual branching processes. We demonstrate that $T$ has logarithmic rate with respect to the initial number of particles.
Keywords: limit theorem, extinction time, subcritical bisexual branching process, large initial number of particles.
