Abstract: The research activities and key results obtained at the artificial intelligence research center “Strong AI in the Industry” based on ITMO University are presented. The concept and goal setting of the Center, its key scientific results, open frameworks and libraries, and practical results demonstrating implementations in various industries are described. Special attention is given to activities concerning the development of promising AI technologies, such as automated machine learning, generative design, and planning of purposeful activity under uncertainty and data incompleteness.
