Sobolev institute of mathematics and the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok are holding in Novosibirsk from September 22 to September 28, 2024, the Conference on Geometric Analysis, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of Academician Yuri Grigorievich Reshetnyak (09/26/1929–12/17/2021). The scientific interests of Yu. G. Reshetnyak cover an extremely wide range of issues of modern mathematics. He owns fundamental results in geometry, the theory of functions, in the field of classical calculus of variations and in a number of other branches of modern mathematics, occupying a borderline place between analysis and geometry.
