Conference on the Theory of Functions of Several Real Variables, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of O. V. Besov (May 29–June 2, 2023 , Steklov Mathematical Institute + Zoom, Moscow)
The theory of functions of several real variables is an integral part of modern analysis. It finds numerous applications in approximation theory, the theory of partial differential equations, and the calculus of variations. The conference will discuss topical problems in the theory of spaces of differentiable functions on domains of Euclidean space and on metric spaces: embedding theorems, interpolation and extension theorems, properties of differential and integral operators, problems of harmonic analysis, widths of function classes, representations and approximations of functions. The conference is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Oleg V. Besov. The topics of the conference are related to the areas of research by O. V. Besov and his school.
Congratulations to Olev Vladimirovich Besov from the research group "Function Spaces", Jena
