Abstract: In this paper, we propose an on-end structure of a circular waveguide that forms a vortex field of the microwave range. We construct its numerical model. The numerical experiments conducted confirm the possibility of generating a microwave vortex field by means of the proposed structure. The best suitable material for fabricating this structure is also selected in the work.
Keywords: waveguide, near-field zone, far-field zone, numerical simulation.
