Image processing and analysis based on the use of phase information

Abstract:
The paper provides a review of main approaches to the use of phase information in image analysis, processing and reconstruction. The description of phase algorithms and examples of their use are given. A technique of the use of phase information based on the Hermite projection method is proposed.
