Abstract: Basic knowledge of the nature of electromagnetic radiation, generation, the characteristic, laws of reflection, absorption and dispersion of light are given in article. The principle of transformation of a range of radiation of primary source by means of developed ceramic materials is shown, to a scope of IK-radiation and the mechanism of impact on various processes.
Keywords: electromagnetic radiation, photon, phonon, power levels, power transition, power barrier, ceramic materials, oxidic materials, infrared converters, optical ceramics, pulse systems.
