Abstract: Use of the nanostructured functional ceramics in the rubbing couples metal-metal, allows to restore geometry of surfaces of friction, to increase their microhardness, considerably to cut power consumption, to reduce the level of vibrations to 100 times. It is essential to increase equipment service life.
Keywords: friction, nanostructures, the rubbing couples, vibration level, power consumption, functional ceramics.
