Abstract: The development of laser systems opens new possibilities for investigation of ultrashort and superstrong laser pulses with matter. The detailed investigation of these processes is impossible without using of modern methods of computer simulation on supercomputing platforms. The most effective PIC method demands a great number of particles and a very small space step in the computing experiment. So the problem of optimization of the computational experiment is actual. In this paper we suggest an approach based on using of mathematical models of different complexity and methods of multicriteria optimization for finding of parameters in the computational experiment.
