Magnetometer-gradienter for measuring thermal stresses in the rail metal

V. S. Kravcov

Irkutsk State University of Railway Engineering
Abstract: The main practical results obtained in the course of writing a thesis. On the basis of all the information received and solving the problems posed at the beginning of the work, a system for diagnosing a rail metal was developed, consisting in finding temperature stresses using a magnetometer-gradiometer.
Keywords: gradiometer, ferrozond, thermal stresses.
