Improving the efficiency of transmission systems of electricenergyusing direct current high voltage

Abstract:
The article discusses the possibility of improving the efficiency of electric power transmission systems with the help of high voltage DC inserts. Described the development strategy of grid complex of Russia, as well as the findings on leading and lagging purposes. Organizational and technical methods of struggle against commercial losses are given. The ways of reducing technical losses of electricity in networks are considered. It is determined that the reduction of electricity losses is a complex task, which in its solution requires the development of specific measures on the basis of preliminary energy examination and determination of the actual structure of electricity losses and their causes. The efficiency of the electric power transmission system with the help of DC inserts is established, as well as the prospects of its development in Russia are considered.
