Optimization of the electromagnetic diagnostics system in the tokamak installation
I. V. Zotov Lomonosov Moscow State Universit
Abstract:
Tokamak facilities for Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion use a developed diagnostics system. This study considers the problem of optimization of the electromagnetic diagnostics system, intended for reconstructing the equilibrium and studying the detailed structure of the MHD plasma activity. An algorithm for solving the incorrect inverse boundary reconstruction problem is presented. The problem of the optimal choice of the number of sensors of the electromagnetic diagnostics system is being studied. The minimum required number of magnetic probes ensuring that the boundary is found with acceptable accuracy is determined for the new Russian tokamak T-15M that is currently under construction. The possibility to compress the experimental data of magnetic measurements in T-15M based on low-rank matrix decomposition is investigated.
