Abstract:
The circular photocurrent (CPC) is photocurrent, whose polarity depends on the rotating direction of the exciting light electrical field vector. To study the CPC the quarterwave plates working in the narrow spectral range are used. Calculations showing the opportunity of using the quarterwave plate outside its work range for CPC study are submitted. On the basis of the obtained results of calculation and experiments the possibility of the CPC exciting in nanostructured resistive Ag/Pd films at the wavelength of Er:YAG laser 2940 nm.
