Abstract:
The article discusses and compares known cryogenic thermodynamic cycles based on a
gaseous working fluid and solid-state ones with magnetic phase transitions in the context
of their thermodynamic efficiency and design of a hybrid multicascade cooling system.
Keywords:
thermodynamic cycle, cryocooler, magnetocaloric effect, superconducting magnet.
