Abstract:
We discuss the effect of electromagnetic radiation in the infrared range of the dark spectrum (a wavelength of 1–8 microns), on the culture of Alternaria micromycetes. The effect of this type of radiation on the spores and mycelium of the fungus is investigated. The irradiation is performed on the programmed digital temperature profiles with independent automated thermal measuring control. It is shown that electromagnetic radiation in the infrared range inhibits spores only at sufficiently high temperatures in excess of 200 ${}^{\circ}$C.
