Function spaces, approximations, and differential equations
Collected papers. Dedicated to the 70th birthday of Oleg Vladimirovich Besov, corresponding member of RAS
Volume Editor: S. M. Nikol'skii Editor in Chief: E. F. Mishchenko
Abstract: The volume contains papers devoted to topical questions of contemporary analysis. The papers treat a wide range of problems related to the theory of differentiable functions of many variables: characterization of spaces of mixed and variable smoothness, embedding of spaces, extension of functions, approximation theory, multiplicative inequalities, a priori estimates of solutions and correct solvability of hyperbolic equations, the method of composite grids, and other questions.
The volume is addressed to specialists, postgraduates, and students specializing in function theory and differential equations.
