Adaptive Systems

Adaptive control of switching a stand-by channel in a single line service system

A. M. Gortsev, N. A. Ivonina, L. V. Proskurina

Tomsk
Abstract: With simple assumptions such as a Poisson input flux of entries and eponential service an adaptive single-line service system is discussed having a stand-by (symmetrical and non-symmetrical) service channel and a hysteresisless control of switching the stand-by channel. The parameters of a simple flux and exponential service are unknown quantities. An adaptive algorithm of control is proposed whoreby use is made of observations of the main and stand-by instruments.
