Abstract: The paper is concerned with the use of optimal estimates obtained with the aid of theory of pseudoinverse operators in identification of lumped and distributed control systems. Non-biased and asymptotically consistent estimates of unknown plant and noise parameters in systems described by difference relations. Effective numerical methods are given for determination of infinitely dimensional estimates by computing the finite dimensional estimates that generate them.
