Information capacity of an optoelectronic ram unit with data record in bits

Abstract: The operating mechanism of a RAM unity with data record in bits is described. The unit incorporates an additional light beam splitter (image multiplier). Formula for estimating the maximal possible unit capacity as a function of the lens parameters and the lasser power. Ways are described to reduce the dimensions of optical assemblies and to design an image multiplier with a large number of light dividers.
