Computers in Control

Using probabilistic properties of an array to reduce the ordering effort

S. Ya. Vilenkin, I. S. Charnaya

Moscow
Abstract: The paper is concerned with probabilities of the need in using a trangle statement for array ordering in the triangle method. Introducing controls on marginal elements of the array parts to be ordered has a significant probability of considerable reduction in the ordering effort.
