Conditions sufficient for optimality of complex processes

V. I. Gurman, A. G. Orlov

Irkutsk
Abstract: An approach is proposed to solution of optimization problems for a wide range of plants including the case of «poor» analytical properties of the plant and the cases where at different stages the plant is described by differential equations of different kinds. The concepts of a complex and a multi-step processes are introduced. Conditions sufficient for optimality of complex processes are formulated which are an extension of V. F. Krotov's sufficient conditions.
