Stochastic Systems

On mixed priority service problem in systems with switching losses

G. K. Mişkoy

Kishinev
Abstract: A servicing system $M_r|G_r|1|\infty$ with mixed priorities and a delay resultant from server switching in request servicing interupt and from resumption of the service. Six different possibilities which are outcomes of the interrupt are discussed. The queue length distribution in nonstationary mode and other system characteristics are found.
