Abstract: The paper is concerned with parametric identification of difference equations for stationary linear dynamic plants. Disadvantages of available identification methods which increasing with the amount of a priori data used are noted. A new method is proposed in which the same kind of a priori information as in the method of least squares is used and which leads to credible estimates.
