On using estimates of local approximation of probability density

Abstract: The paper describes an approach to estimation of functionals of conditional distributions by using estimates of local approximation of the probability density. Certain asymptotic properties of conditional mean estimates are investigated. The specifics of this estimation system and its relation with nonparametric density estimates of the Rosenblatt — Parsen type are discussed [1].
