A model on information renewal by the method of multiple test points

Abstract:
A stochastic model for information renewal in a dialog computer system is considered in the presence of periodic failts. The renewal system operates by return to the tesl point. There is a hierarchy of both test points and faults. A stationary probability distribution is obtained for this model and optimal intervals between test points are found for two interesting cases where for each fault some fixed test point is used and where the nearest in time feasible test point is used.
