On evolution mechanisms in self-reproducing systems. II

L. I. Rozonoer, Y. I. Sedykh

Moscow
Abstract: A continuous model of system evolution is proposed which consists of a large number of self-reproducing elements. Each element is characterized in terms, of a set of features which take on a continuous series of values and the entire system, in terms of element density distribution in the feature space. Adaptation and guided evolution processes are discussed in the framework of this model.
