On Mathematical Description for Static Operating Conditions of an Industrial Plant Meeting Several Approximation Criteria

Yu. A. Zak, G. P. Kondrashin

Kiev
Abstract: The problem of mathematical description of static operation of an industrial plant by experimental-statistic methods is stated as a multi-objective-function programming: problem. Various kinds of approximation criteria and of trade-off description of performance estimate functionals are treated. Solution algorithms are given for the formulated problems of minimizing discontinuous and nondifferentiable functionals of approximation performance estimates that are hybrid in nature and combine the properties of random search and regular methods. The results are illustrated with a numerical example.
