Adaptive Systems

An adaptive system obtained through the dual control theory methods

Yu. E. Sagalov, I. V. Time

Moscow
Abstract: In control problems for a class of plants with an unknown parameter and additive noises with uniform distribution an optimal risk equation for a finite number of control cycles is formed. An adaptive procedure for determination of an unknown parameter minimizing the control risk is proposed. Functional block-diagrams of the system are given. An example is given where an adaptive system for finding optimal parameters of the concentrate in coal dressing is constructed. An approach to estimating the control system efficiency depending on the amount of data used in control is formulated.
