Optimal startup control of a standby service group for a single-station queueing system

A. M. Gortsev

Tomsk
Abstract: Questions related to optimal start up of a group of reserve instruments in a oneflow bulk service systems are discussed. The optimality criterion are mean total losses lor queueing and for attrition of reserve instruments. In a general statement the problem is solved only numerically. For a particular case an analytical solution is obtained.
