Stochastic Systems

Servicing with absolute priority in systems with switching losses

M. I. Volkovinskiya, A. N. Kabalevskii

a Moscow
Abstract: A service system with requests of two types (with and without priority) and one service unit is considered, allowance being made for switching time required to interrupt non-priority request and to return to it.
Distribution of virtual service times in the system is determined as well as the mean time of request stay in the system, distribution of queue lengths and their mean values.
