Plan-production functions in planning under uncertainty. I. A statistical problem of optimal production planning

The paper describes a new approach to formulation and solution of optimal planning problems under uncertainty. The notion of a plan-production function is introduced to formalize the nature of the effect on the actual result of production made by the available resources and the planned target. A formulation is given to the problem of production planning and this is reduced to a form, which's simplest as far as computation is concerned.
