Minimization of determining oriented networks with arbitrary arc capacities

M. B. Gendler, E. Ya. Gik

Moscow
Abstract: The paper is concerned with conversions or arc contractions, of oriented networks with arbitrary throughputs of the arcs. Conditions are given under which the resultant networks univalently determine the fluxes in the initial network. For a given network such networks are determinant. The structure of the determinant networks is studied and the problem of their minimization is solved.
