Deterministic Systems

Structural properties of a Hamiltonian system in a periodic optimization problem

S. Bittantia, K. Maffetstsoni

a Milan, Italy
Abstract: This paper shows that, under suitable regularity assumptions, the autonomous Hamiltonian system relative to a periodic optimization problem admits infinitely many periodic solutions with different periods. The result is achieved by means of a local analysis around an optimal solution of the considered optimization problem.
