Abstract: The article describes the specifics in using the method of dynamics of the averages, developed in operations research for analysis of EDP networks with a large number of interacting elements and a complex functioning algorithms. For system elements typical states are identified and for these operator expressions are obtained that describe total frow rates of state changing events. The proposed methodology of expanding a general system graЈh and operators for typical stated simplifies the development of complex EDP network models.
