Optimal control of an unreliable two-rate queueing system

A. N. Dudin

Minsk
Abstract: For choice of an optimal threshold strategy of service rate switching in a two-rate system with an unreliable server, stationary distribution of the system state probabilities and explicit dependence of the system performance criterion value on the threshold are found. System with a disconnecting server are given thorough consideration.
