Building blocks for process-control systems

M. V. Antropov, I. M. Shenbrot

Moscow
Abstract: The new generation of tools such as microprocessors and local computing networks for process control is characterized. The new tools are delivered as sets of compatible stations for simultaneous operation in a distributed structure. Local data transmission networks, various stations for distributed control systems are described. System characteristics of such systems, and ways to improve their reliability are described.
