Stochastic Systems

A queueing system with an arbitrary number of stand-by channels and hysteresis control of their connection and disconnection

A. M. Gortsev

Tomsk
Abstract: In the queueing system with an arbitrary number of stand-by channels and hysteresis control of their connection and disconnection the flux of queries is assumed simple and the servicing exponential. Explicit expressions are found for stationary probabilities of system states. A number of particular cases are described. Ideas on optimizing the strategy of servicing by symmetrical stand-by channels are presented.
