Using the similarity relation of faults in design of checking tests for digital units

A. G. Birger

Moscow
Abstract: A new approach is suggested which leads to reduction of the set of faults to be considered in design of the checking test, so that the problem dimension is reduced. The relations of similarity and structural similarity of the faults and the simple elations of the tests of these faults are introduced. Algorithms of search for such faults and reduction of the specified set of faults are described, recommendations on their use are given.
