Existence and calculation of stable modes in switching systems

Abstract: An algorithm is proposed for computing forced oscillatory modes in systems with nonlinearities such as a non-ideal relay. Conditions are provided for algorithm convergence that lead to new indicators of existence of stable periodic modes.
