Conditions for nonstationarity of an optimal steady mode of the plant

Abstract: Conditions are obtained under which a stationary mode of plant can be effectively replaced by a mode with periodically changing parameters as are those under which this replacement is never productive. An estimate of effectiveness improvement in switching to a cyclic mode is given.
