Nonmetric multidimensional scaling: models and methods (survey)

V. S. Kamenskii

Moscow
Abstract: Nonmetric multidimensional scaling methods are classified according to data types to which these methods are applied and to the underlying models. Algorithms for a similarity matrix and a preference matrix are described. Methods operating with additional information are briefly characterized.
