Developing Systems

Analysis of stochastic communication systems with the use of the thermodynamics approach

Sh. S. Imel'baev, B. L. Shmul'yan

Moscow
Abstract: Stochastic communication systems are represented as abstract models which can also represent thermodynamic systems. The modelling problems are formulated and solution procedures are described. The relation of the models and the classical transport problem is investigated. The approach is applied to forecasting traffic in an urban system.
