Automatic feedback optimization in a nonstationary unstable plant

Yu. V. Mitrishkin

Moscow
Abstract: The paper is concerned with algorithms for selection of optimal external feedback parameters in suppression of through-like plasma oscillations. The optimization criterion is the threshold value of density which dictates the evolution of trough-like instability. Convergence is studied of the algorithms to a region of the local extremum of the performance functions used. The results obtained in an OGRA-3 thermonuclear installation are cited.
