Optimal control of a linear digital system in the presence of an unmeasurable disturbance

Abstract:
The paper discusses a linear digital system with a vector output, a control and a disturbance. The disturbance is constrained and satisfies certain natural conditions. The upper boundary of the output dependence on various disturbances of the class is minimized. It is found that the optimal control can be obtained as a linear feedback and formulae are given for computing the coefficients of optimal feedback.
