The dynamic properties of a monosemiperiodic modulator

M. B. Leitman

Smolensk
Abstract: The dynamic responses of the series — parallel circuit of a monosemiperiodic modulator are analyzed. It is shown that with respect to the envelope of certain half-waves of the output voltage and, under certain conditions, to the envelope of the variable component the modulator transfer function is equivalent to the transfer function of an elastic differentiator; therefore the modulator can be used as a corrector. Ways to improve the correcting properties of the modulator are proposed and a procedure of calculating the system elements is suggested whereby the specified dynamic characteristics can be obtained.
