Control in Biological Systems and Medicine

A dynamic model for long-term planning of training in health service

B. R. Loginov

Moscow
Abstract: A model is developed for planning of annual student admission rate over a time span so as to meet the need in certain skills by the end of the period. The time horizonsare short- and long-term. The model recognizes the natural reduction in the number of personnel, and the yield of training institutions through coefficients of the drop-out and tracks the performance with correction of the plan. This approach is applicable to long-term and five-year planning of national economy sectors.
